Completing the Employee Setup wizard

After your short profile setup (Welcome, Identity, and Address), RoostPay may open the full Employee Setup wizard for your employment agreement. This nine-step flow collects tax, banking, and emergency contact details so your employer can pay you correctly.

The screen title is Employee Setup. A progress bar and Step X of 9 show where you are. Use Next and Back to move between steps. Tap Save in the top bar anytime to save progress without finishing.

Note: This is different from the shorter three-step Employee setup you complete right after creating your password. See Completing your employee setup for that earlier flow. Tax questions here overlap with the separate TD1 wizard — complete whichever RoostPay prompts you to open.

Tips

  • Leave and return later if needed — tap Save first so you don’t lose answers.
  • Temporary SIN (starts with 9) requires work permit details before you can finish Identity Verification.
  • Extra withholding and provincial credits affect how much tax is taken from each paycheque; answer carefully if you have more than one job.
